Tri-Solfen is a topical anaesthetic and antiseptic solution for pain relief for use on lambs following mulesing and tail docking, on lambs and calves during and following castration, and now for use on calves at disbudding and dehorning.
When using Tri-Solfen the Tri-Solfen 2mL Applicator is recommended.
The Two Nozzle Kit includes the standard fan-spray & calf castration nozzle.

- Tri-Solfen is a viscous liquid that is easily applied to surgical wounds using the dedicated Tri-Solfen applicator. Tri-Solfen’s novel formulation contains a unique combination of 4 ingredients:
- Lignocaine and Bupivacaine – local anaesthetics that provide pain-relief on surgical wounds.
- Adrenaline – to reduce bleeding.
- Cetrimide – an antiseptic agent to help reduce the risk of infection.
