All 8 Year-of-Birth Colour Tags and Post-Breeder Pink Tags are applicable. Orders of 3,500+ eID Tags require the PIC Holder to complete (and have approved by the Department) a “Pre-Approval Form”. The Leader Multipin EID tag is the latest tag in their EID sheep range for NLIS.
The Leader Multipin EID tag is the latest tag in the Leader EID sheep range. Consisting of a transponder that is over moulded into the pin of the tag using revolutionary new moulding procedures, these tags will not only have the strength to withstand the rigours of the environment but have also been tested against other market devices.
Leader tags have specifically developed a transponder to ensure the performance is one of the best on the market. Leader NLIS Multipin tags are moulded from high quality, UV stabilised plastic and incorporate a strong self piercing pin.
Lightweight and durable, Multipin tags offer excellent visible marking combined with flexible lifetime materials and offer a unique swivel action stem to reduce infection and aid in healing.
With a high quality RFID Transponder built into the stem this maximises read distance by pointing at 90 degrees to the tag/ear..
Easy to apply with the professional 3 in 1 Aluminium Applicator (fits, Multipin, Multitronic and Multitags).
Supplied laser printed in accordance with NLIS requirements. Please note that colours and marking/printing may vary slightly in appearance from images shown.

- To order an approved device or tag you must first obtain an 'Application for Permanent NLIS Device' signed by an inspector.
- This application is available from the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) offices where inspectors are located.

- All farmed goats must be identified with an approved NLIS device before traveling to a goat depot.

- Sheep are prohibited animals in the NT due to the presence of blue tongue virus in the Top End and its potential impact on the livestock industry. You must get written permission from the chief inspector of livestock, and meet all other requirements if you want to bring sheep into the NT.
- You must fill in an NT waybill if you want to move goats off the property where they are kept in the NT. Please refer to the NT GOV WEBSITE
