From 1st January 2026 a $0.60 cent discount per eID tag applies to accredited ORANGE eID tags until 31 December 2026.
The discount on White breeder electronic identification tags for sheep and goats is available with a $0.75 discount per tag until 31 December 2025. Black 2024 and Pink (Post Breeder) tags are not currently included in the TIP Scheme.

Tag Incentive Payment Scheme
As part of the implementation of a national electronic identification (eID) traceability system for sheep and farmed goats, Western Australia’s primary producers have received a point of sale eID tag discount from 1 January 2024.- Under the Tag Incentive Payment (TIP) scheme, Western Australian sheep and goat producers will continue to have access to discounted, accredited, eIDs throughout 2026.
- From 1st January 2026 a $0.60 cent discount per eID tag applies to accredited ORANGE eID tags until 31 December 2026.

- NLIS (Sheep and Goats) uses an electronic ear tag printed with a Property Identification Code (PIC), an NLIS movement document which accompanies every mob of sheep or goats when they move, and the recording of all movements of sheep and goats in the NLIS database, to provide traceability.
