Following a successful pilot of the WA Tag Incentive Payment (TIP) scheme and funding received via the 2023-24 State Budget, the TIP scheme has been extended. The discount on black (24) breeder electronic identification tags for sheep and goats will be available until 31 December 2024. Fully accredited EID sheep & goat tags for WA are now available with a $0.75 discount per tag as detailed below.
Shearwell EID NLIS sheeptags are moulded from high quality plastic with the RFID (EID) component incorporated into the rigid body. Lightweight, high quality and durable, this tag offers visible marking combined with good RFID read distance and efficiency.
They come in strips of 20 tags for easy insertion Turbo Tagger or SET tag applicator.
Supplied laser printed in accordance with NLIS requirements. Please note that colours and marking/printing may vary slightly in appearance from images shown.

The discount on black breeder electronic identification tags for sheep and goats will be available into 2024. Fully accredited black tags for 2024 will receive a $0.75 discount per tag.
- NLIS (Sheep and Goats) uses an electronic ear tag printed with a Property Identification Code (PIC), an NLIS movement document which accompanies every mob of sheep or goats when they move, and the recording of all movements of sheep and goats in the NLIS database, to provide traceability.
