On 30th March 2026 QLD DPI announced a discount per tag/device for eligible sheep/goat producers. This is available until 30th June 2027 or while funds last. All 8 Year-of-Birth Colour Tags and Post-Breeder Pink Tags are applicable. Orders of 3,500+ eID Tags require the PIC Holder to complete (and have approved by the Department) a “Pre-Approval Form” (available from the Department). This should be submitted with order.

Designed to be easy to apply, the Endurotag is easy to read and to stay in for the lifetime of the animal. Enduro Tag incorporates a double pin locking mechanism which is unique to the Enduro tag in Australia.
The NLIS Sheep RFID (EID) Combo Tag is available in multiple colours and can be supplied blank for self-marking or custom laser printed in various formats as required.
Please note that colours and marking/printing may vary in appearance from images shown. Tags sold in multiples of 20.

- To order an approved device or tag you must first obtain an 'Application for Permanent NLIS Device' signed by an inspector.
- This application is available from the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) offices where inspectors are located.

- • All farmed goats must be identified with an approved NLIS device before travelling to a goat depot.

- Sheep are prohibited animals in the NT due to the presence of blue tongue virus in the Top End and its potential impact on the livestock industry. You must get written permission from the chief inspector of livestock, and meet all other requirements if you want to bring sheep into the NT.
- You must fill in an NT waybill if you want to move goats off the property where they are kept in the NT. Please refer to the NT GOV WEBSITE
