CERES RANCHER tag is the trusted re-usable tag with direct to satellite capability.The device is activated with an activator and has been designed and programmed for use on cattle.

Utilising direct to satellite capability you can monitor your animals anywhere, through a device of your choice – with no network or infrastructure set up required. With CERES RANCHER you will receive up to 4 data packets per day while accessing insights and alerts on animal behaviour, location & out of boundary alerts and activity monitoring.

CERES RANCHER includes a daily Pasture Feed Intake summary packet that includes information on walking to the nearest minute, grazing to the nearest 30 seconds, Ruminating and resting to the nearest minute and drinking and other to the nearest minute. The Pasture Feed Intake packet also gives a calculation on pasture intake in kilograms an methane output in grams.

With Pasture Feed Intake customers can see metrics on both an individual animal level and at a herd level. They can view this data as reflection of the last 24hrs and also a reflection of the previous week. When using the data to impact your business performance Pasture Feed Intake data can help identify trends of animal behaviour over time. It can be applied with the CERES, Allflex or PowerTagger applicators. Re-usable, it can be used on multiple animals by re-fitting with a new male tag.

Every tag requires a satellite subscription which can be added via the Portal during activation. This is necessary to pass information to your software provider of choice. Integrating with your choice of software partner platforms, the platform offers opportunities to improve productivity across the livestock & Conservation industry and provide a richer range of information to guide effective decision making.

CERES TAG does not provide end user software but rather integrates with other software tools. Depending on the area of the market your business services you may have different software requirements.
Multiple software partners that have gone through the full integration steps so you can view your data in their platform. The Ceres Tag Product Warranty is provided by Ceres Tag Ltd ABN 51 614 436 467 of 58-62 Gilbert Road, Lutwyche QLD 4030 Australia. The terms of the Ceres Tag Product Warranty are set out in clause 9 of the Ceres Tag Customer Agreement.
The benefits given to you in the Ceres Tag Product Warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under applicable consumer protection law in relation to the Ceres Tag products.
For Australian purchases: Ceres Tag goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Consumer Guarantees). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage that has been shown beyond reasonable doubt to not have been caused by the application of the tag according to all instructions and guided use, the animal behaviour, an act of god or natural disaster or environmental conditions beyond the parameters in which the product was designed and manufactured. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure within the boundaries described above and could not have been prevented by Ceres Tag. See clause 10 of the Customer Agreement for further details.

To make a claim under the Product Warranty during the Warranty Period, you will need to contact Ceres Tag on info@cerestag.com to register your claim and provide them with details to assess your claim.
To ensure this process proceeds as promptly as possible please include the flowing in your initial email:

the email that you placed the order with
your name
the original order number
the details of the product you are looking to return – VID number or Batch number
evidence of your perceived problem with the product and any additional information or imagery (photographs, video or other means) that may be relevant to processing your claim. Imagery should be clear and detailed. If the performance of the tag is a concern, please ensure the tag is clean of all dirt, grime and bodily matter for clarity of the issue.
your intended outcome if claim is approved – refund, replacement or, at your election, a store credit

If your intention is to claim for multiple products please provide the above information for each product within the one email. Please note that the cost of shipping, tax and customs paid and calculated at the checkout are non-refundable and will not be included in your warranty claim.
The Ceres Tag team will generally advise as to the progress of your claim within a reasonable time frame from receipt of your email.
