The LPR Livestock Pocket Reader's light weight compact size makes this an economical way to have IDs in your herd. There is no display screen, so the only way to see the scanned EID number is to use The Free Allflex Tag App, or download the scanned IDs to a PC/Windows computer via the software that's included with the reader. The LPR works with bluetooth compatible scale indicators.
Features of the LPR Reader include:
- No display screen so best utilized with iPhone or iPad
- Internal memory to store up to 3,000 EID tag numbers. Download to an iPhone/iPad using The Free Allflex Tags App. Download to a PC/Windows computer using the Allflex software that's included with the reader. Transmit real-time to a bluetooth compatible scale indicator.

- Works with The Cattle Tags App
- Works with Tru-Test weigh scales
- Battery life: 2.5 to 3 hours for continuous scanning; 4 to 4.5 hours for single read mode.
- Internal rechargeable battery pack provides cable-free operation. Charger is included. Takes about 3.5 hours for battery to recharge via the charger, 9 hours to charge via USB plugged into PC computer.
- Includes 1-year warranty
- The LPR reader can read HDX (Half Duplex) and FDX (Full Duplex) EID tags. The read range of EID tags by the reader is about 8 inches.
