Unfortunately, COVID-19 continues to have a higher than usual impact on all manufacturer’s supply chains and freight companies including Australia Post’s services and we are seeing some significant delivery delays.
In particular Allflex, Gallagher, Te-Pari and Datamars (Tru-Test/Prattley) have all experienced significant supply chain, staffing issues. This effects some orders going back several weeks.
As you place your order with us it’s shipped from stock or placed simultaneously with the manufacturers.
The latest advice we have is that long term outstanding orders should be despatched within 2 weeks (by mid May). At this point we are told to lead times from order to despatch should be around 3.5 to 8 weeks.
Estimated lead times quoted on our Lead times page are from order to despatch. Australia Post, Star track and other freight companies we use have all been affected by temporary facility closures as staff are put into self-isolation in accordance with state regulations and fewer passenger flights have meant less air freight capacity for the past 2 years. Catching up on this period continues to effect delivery times.
The latest advice we have had from Australia Post is to allow, from 3 and up to 10 business days, on top of standard delivery times, across ACT, NSW and VIC due to the reasons listed above. See the latest Australia Post update
