Leader HDX Cattle NLIS Bolus plus Matching Tag

For permanent proven identification. Ceramic rumen bolus approved for NLIS use with Matching Management Tag.
- Management tags available as Large, Maxi or Super-Maxi are supplied laser printed and include the male button.
- Tags should be WHITE (Breeder) or Orange (Post Breeder).
- Only one insertion is required to enable lifetime traceability.
- This combination provides an RFID system retained for the animal’s lifetime.
- 100% retention rate (when inserted correctly). Deterrent to stock theft.
- Tested and approved safe for use in food and milk producing animals.
Boluses can be inserted with the HDX Cattle Bolus Applicator.
Management Tags can be applied with the standard or deluxe standard Leader applicators.

Where forms are required to be submitted with orders these can be scanned and attached during the order process, emailed, faxed or sent by post. NLIS Cattle in South Australia
- Cattle owners who purchase electronic National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) bolus/tags must pay $1.50 to the Cattle Industry Fund.
- Authorised tag suppliers collect and forward the money on behalf of the cattle owner.

NLIS Cattle in Queensland
- To order an approved device (bolus or tag) you must first obtain an 'Application for Permanent NLIS Device' signed by an inspector
- This application is available from the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) offices where inspectors are located.

NLIS Cattle in the Northern Territory
- In the Northern Territory (NT) all cattle, buffalo, sheep and goats must have an approved NLIS device, a bolus or tag attached to their right ear before they are moved off a property regardless of where they are going.
- An appropriate order form should be completed and provided with your order.

NLIS Cattle in New South Wales
- Cattle are identified with approved NLIS ear tags or rumen boluses and a matching ear tag.
- All movements of cattle to sale, slaughter or to any other property are recorded in the NLIS database.
- Tags can be purchased directly from your re-seller. For more information please refer to the NSW DPI WEBSITE
NLIS Cattle in Tasmania
- All cattle leaving a property must be NLIS identified.*
- Tasmanian producers must provide their issued Part ID when placing a NLIS order
- Completing DPIPWE's NLIS Registration Form allows you to order NLIS tags in Tasmania. For more information please refer to the TAS PRAS WEBSITE
- * Bobby calves consigned for slaughter are exempt from the System and can continue to use the bobby calf ear tags.

- Cattle are identified with approved NLIS ear tags, or rumen boluses and a matching ear tag.
- All movements of cattle to sale, slaughter or to any other property are recorded in the NLIS database.
